New material

So I would like to announce the launch of some new curriculum for the OEE program at Camp. These classes will be ready to launch for spring season. Please feel free to send any questions.

From Roots to Leaves- a tree class that will study internal function and identification of the local trees at camp. This class will be fun and interactive.

Amazing Birds- This class will focus on adaptations of birds. We will study how these adaptations effect their lives as well as working on identification of local birds.

CSI: Tracking- Students will learn to use cognative reasoning skills to decipher animal tracks and signs and the story they tell. they will learn about how animals walk and how it effects the tracks they leave.

Orientation- This class is a popular choice and it remains the same overall concept. However we are changing the aplied section of the class into an orienteering race that will be accurate to modern orientation sporting. It will also be more fun.

Eco-Encounters- has traditionally been a great class that that covers fantastic material. However it traditionally asked the kids to sit and listen a lot. We have updated it with much more interactive learning and they will be teaching each other as well as playing some learning games.

I hope all of you are doing well. We are just one month away from the winter OEE season. Yeah.
